Risa Ellovich, an Assistant Professor of Anthropology, is a cultural anthropologist with interests in social organization, urban anthropology, and qualitative research methods. Her field research was in West Africa, specifically the Cote d'Ivoir , among Dioula-speaking peoples, with a focus on family's and women's adaptations to the urban setting.
