Environmental anthropology investigates human-environment interactions to understand environmental problems and knowledge from multiple cultural perspectives and to address the challenges in conservation, development and environmental change. Students in this concentration will take additional required courses in environmental anthropology, environmental archaeology, GIS Systems, in addition to applied or urban anthropology.
