The Sunshine Fund |
| The "Sunshine Fund" is
the fund used in the department for things like flowers when faculty
and staff are in the hospital, have a death in the family, or some
other event that we would like to not have happen but sometimes does.
As in the past, these contributions are entirely voluntary. Should you choose to contribute, the amount is up to you. If and when the occasion arises to send flowers, one of the staff or faculty will do so in the name of the whole department, after getting the OK from Ruth, and turn in the receipt to Linda for reimbursement from the fund. To contribute to the fund, send a check, payable to the "NC State Foundation." On the memo line, write "deposit to 682400-40269." Send the check through US Mail, using your own envelope, and address it to:
