RECENT SCHOLARLY ACTIVITIES:

 

Ethnology, Osaka) to help co-organize the archaeology symposia for the

2007 Pacific Science Congress in Okinawa. This interdisciplinary

conference is held every 3-4 years in Pacific Island and East Asian

countries and is focused on encouraging international collaboration within

the region and discussing current issues in the sciences.

 

Wimberley.  The piece was first published in The Southern Sociologist 30 years ago in 1974.  It features stories and accounts of the early SSS by Horace Hamilton, William Cole, Joseph Himes, and others. Those who knew any of the participants should still hear and recognize their voices from the text.
